This release is all about paying affiliates faster and paying them right. FluentAffiliate 1.7.0 takes the busywork out of payout day, protects you from paying on orders that get refunded, and makes every commission more accurate.

Pay Every Affiliate Through PayPal in One Step

With PayPal Payouts (pro), you can pay all the affiliates in a payout with one click. FluentAffiliate sends each payment to the affiliate’s PayPal email, then updates the status of every payment for you as PayPal reports it. No more copying amounts and emails by hand.

Setup is simple. Connect your PayPal business account in Settings → PayPal Payouts, then select PayPal as the payout method in Referral Settings. Test everything in Sandbox mode first, and switch to Live when you are ready.

Affiliates without a valid PayPal email are left out, and you see who before you send.
Payment status stays current on its own, and you can click Check now at any time.
The PayPal fee for each payment shows right on the payout page.

Give Refunds Time to Land Before You Pay

Paying a commission and then seeing the order refunded is frustrating. The new Commission Holding Period lets a new referral wait a set number of days before a payout can include it. If the order is refunded during that time, the referral is rejected as usual, and you never pay for it.

Set the number of days in Referral Settings, or keep it at 0 to pay at once, as before. Held referrals show an “On hold until” date in your referral lists and in the affiliate portal, so affiliates always know when they get paid.

Need to pay someone early? Tick Ignore the holding period when you create a payout, and that one payout includes the held referrals.

Upload Your Payouts to PayPal in One File

Prefer to pay from your own PayPal account? The Export button on a payout now also gives you a PayPal Payouts file. It holds the PayPal email, amount, and currency of each payment, in the format PayPal accepts. Upload it on PayPal’s Payouts page and pay everyone at once.

This works in the free version too, so every FluentAffiliate site can skip the copy-and-paste.

More Ways to Grow

Bring your creatives from Affiliate Manager. The Affiliate Manager migration now moves your banners and creatives too (pro), so affiliates keep the marketing assets they already use.

Ready for more payment gateways. Developers can now add their own payout methods. FluentAffiliate keeps each gateway payout safe until the gateway confirms the money was sent.

A familiar face in FluentCRM. FluentAffiliate automations now show the FluentAffiliate icon in FluentCRM, so they are easy to find.

Bug Fixes and Stability

A stronger foundation. We updated the core framework that powers FluentAffiliate, so the plugin stays fast and ready for the latest WordPress and PHP versions.

Commissions you can trust. FluentCart and FluentBooking orders in currencies without decimals, such as JPY and KRW, no longer earn 100 times the right commission. FluentCart prices that include tax no longer pay commission on the VAT. Free orders no longer pay a flat commission, default rates such as 12.5% keep their decimals, Paymattic coupons are no longer subtracted twice, and unpaid FluentForms payments no longer become payable.

Smarter referral tracking. A link from an inactive affiliate no longer blocks new referrers, a numeric username can no longer take over another affiliate’s links, and visit and referral counts stay correct on busy sites. Lifetime commissions now respect your self-referral setting (pro).

Safer payouts. “Pay all affiliates” now pays active affiliates only. Paid referrals can no longer be paid a second time after you delete a transaction or an affiliate, negative adjustments now count in payouts, and an interrupted payout no longer leaves referrals stuck.

Cleaner migrations. Imports from AffiliateWP, Affiliate Manager, and Solid Affiliate now keep the right rates, balances, and affiliates, and the Affiliate Manager import no longer creates WordPress accounts on its own.

Better integrations. FluentCRM automation notes, smart codes, fixed-amount rates, and affiliate imports all work as expected. Scheduled jobs also run reliably again, with or without Pro.

Everyday polish. Dates and calendars now follow your site’s date format and week start. Charts keep each year’s months apart, amounts show their trailing zeros, and the admin area scrolls and lines up cleanly.

Extra peace of mind. We tightened permissions on affiliate data and reports, escaped more of what appears in emails and on screen, and hardened affiliate registration and integration feeds.
