FluentAffiliate v1.5.0: Lifetime Commissions, Ultimate Affiliate Migration, and Faster Imports

This release is about rewarding your best affiliates for the long haul and making it effortless to move your whole program into FluentAffiliate. Version 1.5.0 adds lifetime earnings, a new importer, and faster, safer migrations for large programs.

Lifetime Commission: Reward Affiliates for Every Future Purchase

With Lifetime Commissions (pro), the affiliate who first referred a customer keeps earning on that customer’s future purchases — even when the customer comes back later and buys directly, without clicking a referral link again.

It is the simplest way to reward affiliates who bring you long-term customers, not just one-off sales.

You stay in control. Set a dedicated lifetime commission rate (a percentage or a fixed amount), apply it across all affiliates.

Also, you can apply it per affiliate group, and optionally add an expiration so the relationship only lasts for a set number of days.

Leave the expiration empty, and it never lapses. The first sale still uses your normal rate — only the later, no-link purchases earn the lifetime rate.

Customer Tab

Every affiliate gets a new Customers tab so you can see who is tied to them.

You can find the tab after enabling lifetime commission in the referral settings.

Find the tab here: Click the “Affiliates” tab, then open an affiliate’s profile. You’ll see the customer tab, where you can see which customer is attributed to which affiliate.

You can also filter by All, Active, or Expired, and search the full customer list.

Admins can link a customer to an affiliate, or transfer a customer to a different affiliate when needed — past commissions stay with the original affiliate, and only future purchases follow the change.

Bring Your Program Over from Ultimate Affiliate

Moving from Ultimate Affiliate? You can now import your affiliates, referrals, visits, and payouts straight into FluentAffiliate, so you keep your history and your affiliates keep their stats. It joins the existing importers for AffiliateWP, Solid Affiliate, SliceWP, and Affiliate Manager.

Run it from the Migrator screen for a guided import, or use WP-CLI.

We recommend using WordPress CLI to migrate from Ultimate Affiliate Pro smoothly.

To start the migration, just run the following WP CLI command:

wp fluent_affiliate migrate_from_ultimate_affiliate

NOTE

This CLI migration will remove all existing data from FluentAffiliate before starting the migration. This command will migrate all of your Ultimate Affiliate data, including affiliates, referrals, payouts, and visits, to FluentAffiliate.

Built for Large Programs

Faster, lighter migrations. Imports now page through large tables efficiently and keep memory use low, so migrating tens of thousands of affiliates, referrals, and visits runs smoothly instead of timing out.

A tidier affiliate portal. The portal sidebar and main content now share the same height, for a cleaner, more balanced layout your affiliates will see every time they log in.

Stronger Security

We hardened input sanitization and removed risky HTML-rendering paths across both the admin area and the affiliate portal, and closed a cross-site request forgery gap on the manual update-check trigger. These are behind-the-scenes changes, but they keep your program and your data safer.

Bug Fixes and Stability

Accurate commissions. FluentCart no longer doubles commission on a setup fee, self-referrals are correctly blocked when you have that option turned off, and integrations safely null-check after recording a referral so attribution stays reliable.

Cleaner migrations. Re-running an import no longer creates duplicate customers or payouts, and earnings recounts and payout totals now reconcile correctly while a migration is in progress.

Everyday polish. Dark mode no longer leaks its background onto other admin pages, and the FluentCRM Manage button in Features & Addons now points to the right place.
